‘Our cry to God is to calm this massive storm which has hit us with gale force. As the wave takes a steeper climb upward, we hear of many people dying in their homes without tests or treatment.’
– Dr Deepak Singh
A sharp and sudden spike in infection rates in rural Maharashtra has brought a huge influx of patients to Chinchpada Christian Hospital.
The team are working flat out to help as many as they can.
But the pressure is overwhelming. Patients of all ages are dying every day, and many are being turned away for lack of space.
Drs Deepak and Ashita Singh are urgently asking for prayer for:
– Physical strength for exhausted doctors, nurses, lab technicians, office staff, support and cleaning staff
– Breakthrough with getting antiviral medicine – there is currently an acute shortage
– Local volunteers to help out with practical needs
– More patients to know God’s presence, power and peace
If you are able to help fund the care of destitute Covid and palliative care patients at Chinchpada, please donate here.
