Five hour journey to hospital with an ectopic pregnancy
Getting to a hospital is already hard in many regions of Nepal. It can take hours to walk to a motorable road before waiting for a vehicle to take you to hospital.
Watch the short film below to see how patients with serious conditions – including an ectopic pregnancy – made their way through lockdown to receive timely, even life-saving care.
We give thanks that they reached Okhaldhunga Community Hospital in time and that staff had the skills and resources to treat them. We’re very thankful, too, for all your support and prayers – and that God met their needs and brought healing.
